By a 16-0 vote, the Executive Committee of the South Carolina High School League voted Monday afternoon to accept the retirement plan for long-time Executive Director Dr. Jerome Singleton. Singleton, who has served in his role for over 20 years, will retire no later than July 1st of 2027, assuming the League has an acceptable
The South Carolina High School League staff has finalized the region placement for all schools beginning with the 2026-2027 season. These classification/region placements will be in effect for two years (2026-2028). Schools will have an opportunity to appeal its region placement to their respective Classification Executive Committee between the dates for February 3-5, 2026.
