Clemson target DT Kayden McDonald of Suwanee, GA told Rusty Mansell of 247Sports following his game in Atlanta Saturday he will take his official visit to Clemson November 26th, but he plans to announce a commitment on Halloween. McDonald has taken an official to Florida and is also scheduled for Michigan September 9th and Ohio State September 23rd.
One-time USC target WR Ayden Williams of Ridgeland, MS announced a commitment to Ole Miss on Sunday.
USC offered 2024 DT Jeremiah Beaman, 2025 DT Jourdin Crawford and 2025 ATH Na’eem Offord of Birmingham.
2024 WR Mazeo Bennett of Greenville was offered by Auburn.
2025 WR Stephen Collier of River Bluff was offered by Charlotte.
6-11 Jordan Butler of Christ Church made an official visit to USC over the weekend. That was his second official visit having already seen Auburn on a junior visit. He is scheduled for an official visit to Florida State this coming weekend. His brother played last season for the Seminoles before entering the NBA Draft. Butler also holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Butler, and Missouri. He has also taken unofficial visits to USC, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Butler and Auburn and Georgia Tech. And his team, coached by his father, went to team camp at Auburn. Butler has said he also plans to take official visits to Missouri and Georgia Tech. Oregon is also showing interest with former USC assistant Chuck Martin now with the Ducks. Last season Butler averaged over 14 points and 8 rebounds per game.
