6-6 Alabama transfer Juwan Gary is taking an official visit to USC this weekend. Gary is from Columbia but left to play his senior high school season in Charlotte before signing with Alabama. He averaged 5 points and 3 rebounds in 59 games with Alabama. This past season he averaged nearly seven points per game. He spent three years in Tuscaloosa redshirting in his first season. According to Jamie Shaw of On3, Gary is scheduled to visit Nebraska Monday. Other schools reportedly in the mix are Western Kentucky, Wake Forest, Ole Miss and DePaul.
6-4 Kansas State transfer Selton Miguel has named USC, New Mexico State and USF as his final three. He averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds per game this season.
6-2 Coastal Carolina transfer Rudi Williams has not taken any visits or scheduled any at this point. He has been in touch with USC and said he’s also hearing from: UConn, Oregon State, Georgia, Georgetown, Florida, Wichita State, Cal, Xavier, Butler, Oklahoma State, George Mason, BYU, San Diego State, Pitt, Memphis, and. Ohio State.
Per Jeff Goodman, USC is part of the long list of schools to contact Detroit Mercy transfer 6-1 Antoine Davis who averaged 24 points per game this season.
New Citadel coach Ed Conroy has signed his first recruit for next season. Madison Durr, a 6-5 combo guard from Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, signed with the Bulldogs on April 13, Conroy said. Durr graduated from Pace Academy in Atlanta before attending Hargrave, where he averaged 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game last season.
