
Four-star QB Christian Veilleux of Ontario Sunday narrowed his list to a final four. Clemson, which offered Veilleux last week, was in that foursome. The others to make the list were Penn State, Duke and Tennessee. Veilleux visited all four schools before visits were stopped, and he plans return visits to each before making his decision. Veilleux, who attends school in Potomac, MD, is ranked the #15 pro-style quarterback in the country in the 247Sports composite.
USC is in the top 12 with three-star CB Javon Bullard (5-11 165) of Milledgeville, GA. The others on his list are West Virginia, Auburn, Boston College, NC State, Vanderbilt, Pitt, Tennessee, Stanford, Georgia, UCF and Purdue. Bullard is ranked the #54 corner nationally in the 247Sports composite and the #54 prospect in Georgia.
Four-star WR Kaden Prather (6-3 210) of Germantown, MD named his top five over the weekend and USC made his short list. The others on his short list are Penn State, Maryland, West Virginia and Oklahoma. Prather made an unofficial visit to USC January 21st. He also visited Maryland, West Virginia and Pitt before visits were halted. Some of his other offers are LSU, Baylor, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Missouri, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan State and Boston College.
Clemson target CB Philip Riley of Valrico, FL, named a top seven of Mississippi State, Penn State, Minnesota, Washington, Virginia Tech, Texas and Notre Dame.
USC target ATH Kamarro Edmonds of Havelock, NC committed to North Carolina.
Clemson target OL Jager Burton of Lexington, KY pushed back his commitment announcement date which had been set for August 24th. He plans to take his five official visits to Clemson, Kentucky, Ohio State, Alabama and Oregon before making his decision.
USC offered 2022 TE/DE Holden Staes of Atlanta. He also has an offer from Michigan.
Pitt transfer guard Trey McGowens of Wren committed to Nebraska.
More offers went out from USC on Friday. The Gamecocks offered LB Danny Stutsman (6-3 215) of Winter Garden, FL. TExas A&M, Kansas State, Marshall, Illinois, Baylor, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and NC State are among his other offers.
USC also offered 3-star DE Colin Mobley (6-4 245) of Dematha High in Hyattsville, MD. Some of his other offers are West Virginia, Southern Cal, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia, Tennessee and Pitt.
Another USC offer went out to four-star 2022 WR Dakota Twitty of Columbus, NC. Kentucky, Louisville, Pitt and Georgia are some of his other offers.
Marion DE TJ Sanders was offered by Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Duke.
Former Dorman WR Jacoby Pinckney will transfer to Appalachian State from Virginia Tech.
Spartanburg PK Will Fowler was offered by Air Force.
2022 OL/DL Nicholas Williams of Fox Creek has offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Penn State and Florida.
