STRecruiting: JUCO OL Adrian Lamb, a USC target, changes up visits plans, cuts one SEC school, but adds two

Adrian Lamb

South Carolina could add another offensive lineman to its 2026 class in Adrian Lamb (6-5 295) of Beaufort and Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, but a decision won’t be rendered until after he takes two more visits later this week.

Lamb has taken official visits to USC and Alabama. He had a visit to Missouri scheduled for this weekend, but that’s off. Instead, he plans to visit Auburn on Thursday and Friday, and then LSU on the weekend.

After those visits, Lamb said he’ll be ready to make a decision from among the four SEC contenders.

New South Carolina offensive line coach Randy Clements has worked quickly to give the Gamecocks a fighting chance with Lamb, who is a nephew of former Gamecock star defensive end Devin Taylor.

“We’ve just been staying in contact with South Carolina,” Lamb said.  “We’re talking about what I can do for the team and stuff like that. We’re just keeping in contact with each other. I want to see what Auburn and LSU have to offer.  I’m just trying to wrap up my recruiting soon.”

When he does sit down to look over everything each school has to offer, Lamb said he’ll base his decision on which of the schools checks the box that’s most important to him.

“The coaching staff,” he said. “Somewhere that treats me like home, that actually wants me there and can develop me as a player and a man.”

As he goes into his final two visits this weekend, Lamb said he does not have a favorite among the four programs.
