LB Anthony Davis Jr. of Loganville, GA, who had early offers from South Carolina and Clemson, committed to Ole Miss.
One-time Clemson target DT Deuce Geralds of Suwanee, GA committed to LSU.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson ATH Jordan Avinger committed to Arkansas.
Woodruff TE Kameron Taylor (6-5 240) committed to Liberty.
2027 RB Amir Brown of Rolesville, NC, who drew Clemson interest and made a pair of visits, committed to North Carolina.
Clemson is in top six with 2027 SAF Marquis Bryant of Rolesville, NC. The others are North Carolina, Notre Dame, Florida State, Georgia and Tennessee.
2027 DE Jaden Wuerth (6-3 270) of Dutch Fork was offered by Appalachian State. He also has offers from South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Liberty, Jacksonville State and Georgia State among others. Last season for Aquinas High School in Augusta, Wuerth had 147 tackles with 38 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
2027 LB Quinton Cypher (6-3 220) of Raleigh, who has Clemson and South Carolina in his top 11, was offered by Oregon. The others on his short list are Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Duke and North Carolina.
2027 QB Jayce Johnson of Valdosta, GA, who had South Carolina in his final five, committed to Texas A&M. Tennessee, Florida State and Ole Miss were also on his short list.
South Carolina target 6-9 Justin Caldwell of Fayetteville, NC committed to Georgetown following an official visit with the Hoyas. Caldwell was also planning official visits to USC, Ohio State and Mississippi State.
