Clemson offered OT Zaden Krempin (6-8 275) of Prosper, TX Saturday night while he was in for the junior day. Krempin has a loaded offer sheet reflected by his other spring visits. He will be going to LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Texas and Colorado over the next month. He has also scheduled official visits to LSU, SMU, Texas and Michigan over the first four weekends of June.
Clemson offensive line coach Matt Luke also issued an offer Saturday to visiting OT Canon Pickett (6-4 310) of Tampa. Clemson was already in his top ten along with Florida, Miami, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia and LSU. He has an official visit set with Miami June 20th.
Clemson Saturday also offered DT Elijah Golden (6-4 270) of Sarasota. Golden has some other heavy-hitting spring visits scheduled including Virginia Tech, two trips to Alabama and Notre Dame. He also has an official visit to Alabama set for June 13th. He also has offers from Florida State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas, Georgia, NC State, Texas A&M, Stanford, Miami, Auburn, Michigan, Michigan State and Illinois.
Clemson offered DT Marcus Almada (6-4 280) of Marion, MA on Saturday while he was in for a visit. Kentucky and Oklahoma State are a couple of his other top offers and he has official visits set with both. He also has offers from West Virginia, Wake Forest and Boston College.
Clemson offered DE Kamhariyan Johnson (6-2 250) of Muscle Shoals, AL while he was in on Saturday. He has future spring visits set with Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn, and he has OVs set with those four as well.
Clemson offered CB Marcell Gipson (5-11 170) of Dallas. Some of his other offers are Kansas State, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Washington, Washington State, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Memphis and Vanderbilt.
LB Adam Balogoun-Ali (6-2 240) of West Palm Beach, FL has Clemson down for a March 31st spring visit. He has been to Missouri and has other visits set with Miami March 22nd, North Carolina March 29th, NC State March 30th, Auburn April 5th, Florida April 12th, Colorado April 17th and Penn State April 25th.
OT Kamari Blair of Clarksville, TN visited Vanderbilt earlier in the week. He will visit Ole Miss March 19th and South Carolina April 6th.
CB Cedric Cisse (6-0 175) of Lakewood, a former NC State commitment, has been offered PWO opportunity by South Carolina and he plans a decision soon on if he will take that. His brother, CB Brandon Cisse, transferred to USC from NC State.
South Carolina target DT Trashawn Ruffin visited North Carolina Saturday. He is down for LSU March 14th and also plans to visit the Gamecocks this spring. He has officials set with LSU, North Carolina, Texas A&M and USC. He has been committed to A&M since last October.
South Carolina target QB Brady Smigiel visited Washington Saturday. He is scheduled to visit Columbia March 27th. He has officials set with Michigan and Washington.
Orangeburg Prep TE Tilden Riley visited West Virginia Saturday.
2027 OT Nate Carson of Irmo was offered by Florida while on a visit Saturday. He was also offered by Tennessee during the week.
South Carolina’s women’s target Aaliyah Chavez reportedly has Texas and Oklahoma as two favorites with her commitment announcement set for March 25th according to On3. The website, citing sources, reported that Chavez, of Lubbock, TX is seeking $1.5 million dollars in an NIL deal from the school she chooses. The report stated Texas Tech also remains in the running as distance from home is a factor with her decision. Chavez scored 4796 points in her career and averaged 35.3 points per game this season.
Upstate guard 6-6 Mister Dean is transferring after earning Freshman of the Year honors in the Big South. The Miami native averaged 16 points and 5.5 rebounds per game this season.
