Following its 45-37 win over Old Dominion on Saturday night, the Coastal Carolina football team immediately set its gaze on the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. That’s because, under a national spotlight on Thursday night, the Chanticleers will square off against James Madison. Coastal is 0-2 all-time against the Dukes on the road, having dropped a 47-7 decision there two seasons ago.
Meanwhile, James Madison is 4-1 on the season, having suffered its first loss on Saturday, 21-19, to Louisiana-Monroe. The same Dukes football team that beat North Carolina 70-50 and Ball State 63-7 was held in check by the Warhawks in their Sun Belt Conference opener.
