6-6 Jamier Jones of Bradenton, FL will announce his college commitment Sunday for the 2025 class. . South Carolina is in his final six along with Kansas, Ohio State, Providence, Houston and LSU. He reportedly is taking an official visit to Providence today. He made an unofficial visit to USC back in November. Analysts regard him as one of the top prospects in the ’25 class.
Furman signed 6-3 Barry transfer Nick Anderson and 5-10 Kent State transfer Jalen Sullinger. Anderson averaged 13.6 points per game, netted 1,235 career points, and shot 43.2% from three-point range over four seasons with the Buccaneers where he played for former Furman coach Butch Estes. Sullinger captured third team All-MAC honors this past season after averaging 15.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
