For most college students, the end of spring break is nothing to celebrate. However, Clemson wide receiver Antonio Williams isn’t like most college students. After missing the majority of last season with an injury, Williams says he was thrilled to be back out on the practice field.

The Dutch Fork High School product received a medical redshirt after playing in just five games a year ago due to foot injuries that cost him much of the 2023 campaign. Williams adds that time away from football helped him gain a little perspective.

“Last year, I definitely realized I took being healthy for granted,” Williams said on Monday. “This game, I just love it so much, so every time I step on the field, I’m gonna give 110 percent.”

Williams met with the media on Monday to show off his enthusiasm for practice, explaining that it was good to be back from spring break while conceding it was even nice to be tackled. Or, as he stressed, making “people miss.”

Like we said, not your normal college student.
