Hammond School TE Mike Tyler (6-5 225) has seen his recruiting list continue to grow. Some of his latest offers were from USC, Virginia, UCF and Wake Forest.
Those were added to earlier offers from FAU, West Virginia, Georgia Southern, NC State, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Cincinnati and Liberty.
Tyler will be taking junior day visits this month to Cincinnati and West Virginia. His unofficial visits in 2023 included USC, Appalachian State, ECU, Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati.
Tyler said he’s hearing the most at this point from Cincinnati, West Virginia and Georgia Southern. He said his contact from USC has been at a moderate level. He does not have a current favorite.
Last season Tyler caught 33 passes for 543 yards and seven touchdowns as he was part of a third state championship team.
