South Carolina is set to have a big recruiting weekend featuring a large number of transfer targets the Gamecocks are pursuing. One high school player who was scheduled to visit, OL Elyjah Thurmon of Hinesville, GA is no longer involved with the Gamecocks and is expected to commit to Clemson when he announces on Monday.
Scheduled for official visits to USC this weekend are DT Jerome Simmons of Highland JC, TX, RB Oscar Adaway of North Texas, RB Elijah Green of North Carolina, RB Rocket Sanders of Arkansas, WR Jared Brown of Coastal Carolina, WR Jayden McGowan of Vanderbilt, TE Tyler Neville of Harvard, DT LT Overton of Texas A&M, DT Micaiah Overton of Texas A&M and DB Gerald Kilgore of Tennessee Tech.
Middle Tennessee State transfer OL Keylan Rutledge plans to visit Clemson Sunday according to David Hood of Tigernet. He planned to visit Georgia Tech today and is scheduled to visit Auburn Sunday.
USC target RB Daniel Hill of Meridian, MS plans to take an official visit to Mississippi State this weekend. He has had USC, Tennessee and Alabama as his top three with an announcement set for January 6th.
Former USC RB Mario Anderson was offered by Oklahoma per Pete Nakos.
USC cornerback commitment Braydon Lee has set an official visit for this weekend to Maryland.
Miami transfer TE Jaleel Skinner has locked in an official visit to Auburn for this weekend according to On3.
