There’s been plenty of complaining about the Clemson offense during this 4-2 start to the season, but the defense, which was expected to be stout, has risen to the occasion. Second year coordinator Wes Goodwin needed a bounce back season after rugged run last year, and his guys have delivered. Statistically, the Tigers are improve pretty much across the board compared to last season. They also rank high nationally in a several key categories.
Earlier this week, Goodwin met with the media at Clemson to take questions about the play of the defense through six games.
