
Another blow out win for the #1 ranked USC women Thursday night at Vanderbilt 96-48. It’s the Gamecocks 15th straight win over the Commodores and it evens the all-time series at 21.
The Gamecocks were on their game shooting 62% from the floor. They outscored the Commodores in the paint 60-30, had 17 offensive rebounds for 21 second chance points, and forced 13 turnovers for 17 points.
Zia Cooke led the scoring with 17 points, Aliyah Boston had 16 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. As a team the Gamecocks blocked 14 shots.
‘the double-double for Boston was the 72nd of her career tying here with Sheila Foster for the career mark.
The Gamecocks are 19-0 overall and 7-0 in the SEC and will host Arkansas Sunday afternoon.
