Dutch Fork RB Jarvis Green is set to announce his commitment decision Tuesday at the Shrine Bowl with Clemson the big favorite after offering late last week. Green told Adam Friedman of Rivals upon checking in at the Shrine Bowl in Spartanburg that his decision came down to the Tigers and Virginia Tech after he decommitted from James Madison. Virginia Tech also offered late last week. Green is one of two running backs Clemson is expected to sign December 21st, the other being Jamarius Haynes of Roanoke, AL. Green will not enroll early but Haynes will.
USC made the short list Sunday with one of the top edge rushers in the 2024 class. DE Jaylen Harvey (6-2 235) of Gaithersburg, MD named the Gamecocks in his top 11. The other ten are Maryland, Tennessee, Michigan, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Penn State, Louisville and Pitt. Harvey was offered by the Gamecocks last week.
Miami continues to pursue USC commitment DT Xzavier McLeod according to CaneSport. The report stated that Miami coaches were in Camden last week to visit McLeod and were planning to return this week.
USC commitments SAF Vicari Swain and OT Isaiah Jatta were offered by Colorado.
LB Kamren Robinson (6-2 215) of Tappahannock, VA took an official visit to Florida State over the weekend and told the FSU 247Sports site that he will visit USC this coming weekend. He’s been a Virginia commitment since July. He took official visits to Virginia and Virginia Tech in June.
USC target transfer TE CJ Dippre was offered by Alabama on an official visit over the weekend. He’s scheduled to visit USC this weekend.
USC reportedly has offered Kent State WR transfer Devontez Walker.
USC offered 2025 OT Brayden Jacobs of Alpharetta, GA, 2025 WR CJ Wiley of Alpharetta, GA, 2025 ATH Amauri Anderson of Alpharetta, GA and 2025 WR Jayden Sellers of South Florence, brother of Bruins quarterback and USC target LaNorris Sellers.
Clemson offered 2024 QB Walker White of Little Rock, AR and 2023 RB Peyton Streko of Cumming, GA, who has a PWO opportunity.
Camden DE Shymeik Jones committed to Appalachian State.
2024 OT Blake Franks of Greenville was offered by Auburn.
2024 6-7 Derrion Reed of Grovetown, GA was offered by USC.
2026 RHP/3B Lucas Cannady of Tallahassee committed to Clemson.
