Dabo Swinney joined the media via conference call, Sunday, following Clemson’s 31-3 thrashing of Boston College. The Tigers offense didn’t click into gear until the second half but it may have been the defense’s best performance of the season. The Eagles managed just 254 yards of total offense a week after Clemson held NC State to 279 yards. It was Clemson’s 12th straight win, dating back to last season.
Swinney and his staff will now prepare for their fourth straight Atlantic Division game, a road trip to Tallahassee, Fla., to face Florida State. The Seminoles are coming off a crushing last-minute defeat at the hands of NC State. Clemson has won the last six in the series, including the last two in Tallahassee. Kickoff from Doak Campbell Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m., Saturday.
