Heavy rain greeted the teams Wednesday morning as practice began for the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl in Myrtle Beach. But that didn’t stop North coach Wayne Farmer of Calhoun County and South coach Art Craig of Hanahan from putting their teams thru vigorous workouts outdoors. With more rain expected for the afternoon. the teams practiced indoors at the John Rhodes Sports Center.

The weather is expected to be much better Thursday and two more practices are scheduled, along with the holiday shopping trip to Target with children from the Myrtle Beach area.

After Wednesday’s practice, the coaches reviewed the day and set the stage for Saturday’s game.
