Despite giving up a kickoff return for a touchdown on the opening play of the game, Clemson cruised to an easy 44-7 win over UConn on Saturday. The Tigers defense led the way, holding the overmatched Huskies to just 99 yards of offense, while recording six sacks. Clemson also did not allow an offensive touchdown for the fourth game this season, which is the second most of any school nationally.

On Sunday, head coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly conference call to recap the win over UConn and to start looking forward to Saturday’s ACC showdown with #13–Wake Forest. Swinney bragged on his defense during the media availability, especially how well that unit played on third and fourth downs. He also touched on the growing injury list and his seniors gearing up for their final home game.
