Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer addressed the media via conference call, Sunday, following South Carolina’s 31-28 loss at Missouri. Beamer said his team wasn’t flat and the slow start was due to inconsistency in all three phases. He also suggested the blame for the protection problems shouldn’t fall solely on the offensive line, pointing to issues at missing blitzing linebackers and quarterback Jason Brown often escaping to the outside instead of moving up in the pocket.
South Carolina will need a win in one of its last two games, both at home, to become bowl eligible.

Harlequinade of epic proportions. Please fire this guy and get a real (actual) head coach. Such a joke of a program. Embarrassing.
Gee, talk about NO patients. Be patient. They look improved from last year. Recruiting is much improved. It just takes time to recover from Muschamp’s disaster. He was probably the biggest mistake ever made at USC.
Tell anonymous he’s embarrassing. Get off the fire Shane crap. You’re a damn idiot!!! If you ain’t got nothing positive to say, shut the hell up.
Sat was a disaster. They proved the week before that they are capable of playing just as good as any other team. You figure if they can hurt Florida as bad as they did they can play just as good against any other team. Why aren’t they bringing that kind of game every weekend. I’ve been a life long Gamecock fan and I really would like to see them become the team I know they can be. At least once before I leave this earth, please….😂😂😂
