USC target RB target Jaylon Glover of Lakeland, FL has set August 6th for his commitment announcement. Glover has had a top five of USC, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Utah. In June he made official visits to USC, Georgia Tech and Florida State and unofficial visits to Tennessee and Florida. Glover rushed for 1588 yards and 31 touchdowns last season, after a sophomore season of 1592 and 14 touchdowns. He’s rated a three-star prospect and ranked the #34 RB nationally and the #58 prospect in Florida. Glover has been at the top of USC’s board for running backs. The Gamecocks missed on a couple of other targets recently when Ramon Brown committed to Virginia Tech and Omario Hampton committed to North Carolina. They remain involve with Anthony Handerson of Fort Lauderdale.
TE Oscar Delp of Cumming, GA confirmed he will attend the Clemson cookout on Sunday. His attendance was first reported by Anna Hickey of 247Sports. Delp said last week his plans on visiting Clemson again hinged on his parents plans for the weekend. He also visited Clemson June 3rd. Delp said last week he would not visit Gamecocks or Georgia for their gatherings on July 31st since both are on the same day and he didn’t want to choose one over the other, and he confirmed that again on Friday. He said the Clemson visit will be his only one for the coming week.
Clemson is in the top five with DT Caden Curry (6-5 250) of Greenwood, IN. The others on his short list are Alabama, Oregon, Wisconsin and Ohio State. Curry cut from his previous short list Notre Dame, Southern Cal, Florida State, Indiana, Tennessee, Michigan and Arizona State. He took an unofficial visit to Clemson June 11th for the Elite Retreat, and other unofficials in June to Tennessee, Ohio State and Alabama.
USC target DE Tomiwa Durojaiye will visit Kentucky next week. That means he will have visited all of his favorites ahead of his announcement date of August 7th. In June he visited USC, West Virginia, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.
USC target CB Nick Cull of Donalsonville, GA has scratched the July 30th announcement date he had set to give himself more time. He has a short list of USC, Miami, Florida, Ole Miss Auburn and Alabama.
Clemson target 2023 RB Richard Young of Lehigh Acres, FL plans to visit Ohio State next week.
USC offered 2023 OL Cole Surber (6-5 265) of Nokesville, VA. He also has offers from Kentucky and Virginia.
One-time USC target DE Eli Hall of Shelby, NC committed to Wake Forest.
Clemson target DE Nyjalik Kelly of Fort Lauderdale was offered by Tennessee.
Greenville QB Pro Franklin was offered by Fordham.
