SEC Media pick #Gamecocks near the bottom of the East; three named to the pre-season All-SEC Team

USC DE JJ Enagbare was named to the 1st team of the pre-season All-SEC team (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

The SEC Media have spoken, and they have projected USC to finish 6th in the East this coming football season. The Gamecocks are coming off a 2-8 season and are starting over with new head coach Shane Beamer. They did receive one vote to win the league title. The only team below the Gamecocks in the East projection is Vanderbilt. Georgia is the pick to win the East and Alabama is the favorite to win the West and the SEC Championship Game.

Three Gamecocks were voted on to the pre-season All-SEC Team…DE JJ Enagbare is on the first team, RB Kevin Harris is on the second team and TE Nick Muse made the third team.
