
USC still has a spot available in the 2021 class and the Gamecocks are eying another potential transfer. Wednesday night CB BJ Gibson (6-4 209) of Marietta, GA, who is transferring from Navy, tweeted he had been offered by the Gamecocks. He has four years of eligibility. Gibson played in one game in 2019 from the Midshipmen and in five games in 2020. Gibson was rated a three-star prospect as a high school senior in the 247Sports Composite. Kent State, Old Dominion, Temple and Liberty were some of his other offers in 2019.
USC offered 4-star QB Tanner Bailey (6-1 195) of Gordo, AL. He’s ranked the #8 pro-style QB in the country in the 247Sports Composite. Among his other offers are Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Duke, Florida State, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech.
USC target QB Sam Horn of Suwanee, GA was offered by Florida.
Clemson and USC target SAF Jihaad Campbell of New Jersey and IMG Academy was offered by Miami.
USC target SAF Jaron Willis of Leesburg, GA was offered by Miami.
USC reoffered 2023 OT Markee Anderson (6-5 280) of Dorman. He also has offers from Virginia Tech and Florida State. The previous USC staff was the first to offer Anderson.
Myrtle Beach QB Ryan Burger was offered by Old Dominion.
2022 OT Chase Sweigart of Chapin was offered by USF.
