Clemson was impressive enough in the win over Virginia Saturday night to maintain its grip on the top spot in both polls released Sunday, but the voters are giving more and more love to Alabama. Clemson received three fewer first places votes from the media in the AP poll, while Alabama gained five first place votes. And in the coaches’ poll, Clemson did gain an additional four first place votes, but Alabama added 10. Georgia moved up to third in AP ranking and is followed by Florida and Notre Dame.
