


Clemson target OL Peyton Miller of Anna, TX, committed to Florida on Monday afternoon. He had a short list of Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arizona State, Penn State, Texas, Wisconsin, Texas Tech, and SMU. He camped at Clemson last summer, was in for a game last season, and visited for the junior day in early March. He also had an official visit set with the Tigers for May 29th.
Per Chad Simmons of Rivals, Clemson offered CB Bryce Williams of Fort Lauderdale, and he was in for a visit on Monday. Williams is a former Florida State commitment. He’s expected to take an official visit toi Clemson May 29th.
DE Jackson Vaughn (6-4 225) of Plainfield, NJ, reclassified to 2027, and has South Carolina among his top nine. He’s coming off a visit to Notre Dame over the weekend. (Hayes Fawcett)
South Carolina target RB Javarris Warner of LaGrange, GA decommitted from Cincinnati. He had been committed there since last October. He has had an official visit set with South Carolina for June 5th. He also has Stanford, Duke, LSU and Penn State scheduled.
DE Desmond Malpress, earlier this month, replaced Alabama with Clemson for an official visit June 12th. He has South Carolina this weekend, followed by Georgia Tech May 29th and Syracuse June 5th. Florida State gets the final visit June 19th.
DT John Archer of Fayetteville has set an official visit to South Carolina for June 19th, according to Don Callahan of InsideCarolina. Archer visited Chapel Hill last Friday for the Tar Heels’ final practice of the spring. He has set an official visit to NC State for this weekend, then Auburn on May 29th, Florida on June 5th, USC on June 19th, and he also plans to set one with North Carolina. Archer also visited the Gamecocks on April 9th.
Clemson is one of the four finalists for OL Carter Jones, along with Georgia, Tennessee, and Penn State. Those are the four schools he had previously set official visits with. He has already visited Penn State and Georgia. He will visit Tennessee this weekend and Clemson May 29th. He moved up his process because his dad, who is in the military, is due for deployment this summer.
LB Ja’Bios Smith of Swainsboro, GA named a final five, which are the schools he’d already set his officials with…South Carolina May 1st, Florida May 29th, Texas A&M June 5th, Texas Tech June 12th, and Georgia June 19th.
Clemson offered OT Jason Brown (6-6 305) of Lilburn, GA. South Carolina has also offered him. He recently set official visits with Pitt, Georgia, Auburn and Kentucky.
South Carolina OL coach Randy Clements visited OL Stafford Willis of Arab, AL last week, as did Clemson OL coach Matt Luke.
A scheduled official visit to USC on June 5th by OL Kyson Mallard of Albany, GA is off. The former Georgia commitment now has Georgia Tech on that date. He set other officials with NC State, Pitt, Louisville, North Carolina and Mississippi State.
Clemson target WR Tae Walden visited Ole Miss Saturday.
Clemson target RB Gary Walker was offered by West Virginia.
CB Rodreon Cranford of Hartsville visited North Carolina Friday.
2029 RB Brayden Boults of Crestwood was offered by Arkansas, Maryland, Baylor and Southern Cal.
