



North Greenville 34-UNCP 20 in Conference Carolinas Championship Game
North Greenville scored 17 points in the second quarter to lead 20-13 at half. Pembroke took the opening kickoff of the second half 75 yards in two minutes to even the score at 20 – 20. The Trailblazers would have the last word, however. North Greenville ended the game with 14 unanswered points to put the Braves in a 34-20 hole. Jerrick Foster put the final nail in the coffin with an interception on UNC Pembroke’s final drive. Dylan Ramirez, the Championship game MVP, finished with four total touchdowns, including three rushing and a passing score. Ramirez threw for 261 yards and rushed for another 40 yards
Albany State 22-Benedict 16 in SIAC Championship Game
The Tigers scored a 27-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to cut the ASU lead to six points, then a final fourth-down pass in the end zone with just 12 seconds left in the game was incomplete, with Triston Morgan nearly making the catch while being tackled. After surrendering more than 250 yards to the Golden Rams in the first half, Benedict held Albany State to just 14 yards of offense in the second half. The Tigers, meanwhile, finished with 200 yards of offense in the second half. Benedict is 9-2 and will play at Wingate Saturday in the D2 Playoffs.
Presbyterian 23-St. Thomas 9
PC’s defense held St. Thomas to just 179 yards of total offense, a season low. The Tommies never touched the end zone outside of a 3rd-quarter pick-six. PC put the game out of reach by going on a 13-play touchdown drive that took over seven minutes of clock, turning a one-score game into a 14-point final differential. Quarterback Collin Hurst recorded his 12th consecutive game with at least one touchdown pass after sitting out the Davidson game due to injury, completing 17-of-24 throws for 237 yards and two scores. The combination of a Drake loss to Morehead State and a PC victory over Marist at Bailey Memorial Stadium this weekend would give the Blue Hose a share of the Pioneer Football League regular-season title. PC is 9-2 and 5-2.
SC State 34-North Carolina Central 27
The Bulldogs had 454 yards. William Atkins IV led the air attack, completing 24-of-36 for 314 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, while running back Josh Shaw ignited the Bulldog offense in the ground attack with 10 carries for 83 yards and one touchdown. Down 27–20 entering the fourth, Atkins led a 13-play, 80-yard march capped by a 24-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Smith, knotting the contest at 27–27 with 13:25 remaining. After the Bulldog defense forced consecutive NCCU punts, SC State took over with 5:07 remaining and leaned on its ground attack. Shaw broke free for a spectacular 30-yard touchdown run with 1:51 left—giving SC State a 34–27 lead and completing the comeback. The Bulldogs are 6-3 and 4-0 and will play at Delaware State on Saturday. They will clinch a spot in the Celebration Bowl with a win.
Allen 42-Erskine 24
2025 SIAC Player of the Year Fabian Duncan had 27 carries for 148 yards and a touchdown. Duncan finished the 2025 season with 1,301 yards and 15 TDs. QB Jamir Dismukes was 11-of-15 passing for 159 yards and 4 touchdowns. Allen finishes the season with four straight wins and was 6-5 overall, 5-3 in the SIAC. Erskine finished at 1-10 overall and 1-5 in Conference Carolinas.
UT-Martin 17-Charleston Southern 14
The Bucs trailed 17-14 in the final minutes. They got it to second and four at UTM’s 36 and gave up sacks on the second and fourth down plays with the third down having a Skyhawk cornerback knock down the pass, leading to a turnover on downs. UT Martin was able to keep the ball moving and wind down the clock to seal the win on senior day. Zolten Osborne finished the day going 14-25 through the air for 276 yards, which included two touchdowns and an interception. Rashawn Cunningham had one of the biggest performances of the season as he had 216 receiving yards off seven receptions. The Bucs are 4-7 and 3-4 and will host Tennessee State Saturday.
Furman 32-VMI 14
Sophomore Trey Hedden threw for 275 yards and connected with freshman Evans James on a pair of touchdown tosses. With nine catches for 70 yards on the day, James established a new Furman freshman season receptions record. He also owns the school record for receiving yards in a season by a freshman. Furman is 6-5 and will play at Clemson Saturday.
Wofford 16-The Citadel 14
The Terriers had a 16-7 lead after the opening play of the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs scored once for a 16-14 margin, and then the Wofford defense had an interception and a fourth-down stop to secure the victory. J.T. Fayard was 18-of-24 passing for 210 yards, while Gerald Modest Jr. had 13 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown. The Citadel quarterback Quentin Hayes had 22 carries for 78 yards, and he was 11-of-19 passing for 153 yards. Wofford is 5-6 and 4-3 and will host Chattanooga on Saturday. The Bulldogs are 4-7 and 3-4 and will play at ETSU on Saturday.
