STRecruiting: Clemson adds a 2026 commitment from Ohio linebacker Brayden Reilly

Brayden Reilly

A relatively late addition to the 2026 football recruiting class for Clemson came on Friday morning with a commitment from LB Brayden Reilly (6-3 210) of Cincinnati. Reilly, who decommitted from Northwestern earlier in the week, is the first linebacker commitment for the class.

Clemson offered Reilly on October 16th. A week later, he announced his decommitment from Northwestern, to which he had been committed since May. Michigan and Vanderbilt also offered soon after his decommitment.

Through his recruiting process Reilly also landed offers from Minnesota, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Missouri, Indiana and some smaller programs.

He will take an official visit to Clemson next weekend for the Duke game.

In eight games this season, Reilly has 51 total tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss. He has three interceptions and two pass deflections per MaxPreps stats.

Reilly is the 22nd commitment for the 2026 Clemson class. His former teammate, OT Tucker Kattus, signed with the Tigers last year.
