Tim Bourret is right where he belongs, inside the Clemson athletic “Hall of Fame” (AUDIO)

Tim Bourret and the rest of the Clemson “Hall of Fame” class will be honored in November

Even though he didn’t attend Clemson University, Tim Bourret is as much a fixture in the Upstate as “The Rock,” Littlejohn Coliseum, and the Esso Club. The former sports information director for the Tigers retired from the position in 2018, but that hasn’t stopped him from staying connected with Clemson athletics. Bourret continues to serve as color analyst for the men’s basketball broadcasts, something he’s done for the last 45 seasons. With a resume of over 1200 Clemson games, Bourret is the dean of broadcasters in any sport in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The class won’t be honored until the football weekend against Florida State on November 8th, but we wanted to speak with Tim beforehand. So, Bourret recently visited SportsTalk to discuss his induction into the Clemson “Hall of Fame” and to reminisce about the past.
