STRecruiting Notebook 1-10: CB prospect to be among USC visitors Saturday; Clemson coaches seeing prospects

CB Khary Adams of Towson, MD plans to visit South Carolina Saturday per 247Sports. He also plans to visit Penn State later in the month. He also has offers from LSU, Wisconsin and Arizona. Last season he had 39 tackles with four picks and 12 break ups. He also plays receiver.

Clemson OL coach Matt Luke visited OT Canon Pickett (6-5 310) of Tampa on Thursday. Pickett has not yet been offered by Luke, but he has numerous major offers including Georgia, Miami, West Virginia, Stanford, Auburn, Tennessee, Michigan, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Texas A&M, LSU, Oregon, Florda, Florida State and Penn State.

Luke also visited OL Grant Wise of Milton, FL Thursday. Clemson has been among his top schools.

Clemson coaches Dabo Swinney, Chris Rumph and Mickey Conn were in Atlanta Thursday to see DE Dre Quinn (6-4 217) of Norcross, GA. The Tigers offered him in November. Some of his other offers are Alabama, Florida State, SMU, Virginia, Northwestern, LSU, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech. He visited Clemson in November for the Louisville game.

Georgia OC and QB coach Mike Bobo was in on Thursday night to see USC QB target Jared Curtis in Nashville.

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin apparently was in Sumter today which is hometown of transfer CB Brandon Cisse who has visited Oxford and USC. A decision from Cisse is expected any day though he is scheduled for an official visit to Florida this weekend according to GatorsOnline.

USC basketball is involved with 6-3 Trey Beamer of IMG Academy according to 24/7 High School Hoops. Also showing interest are Mississippi State, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.
