Clemson has dipped back into the transfer portal and landed edge rusher Jeremiah Alexander (6-2, 249), according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. Alexander has seen limited playing time (eight tackles) in the last three seasons at Alabama after a heralded high school career that made him one of the nation’s most sought-after recruits in 2022. Alexander bounced between the outside and inside linebacker positions during his time in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Alexander was considered by many to be the top player coming out of the state of Alabama after helping Thompson High School (Birmingham) win four consecutive 7A state championships alongside Clemson defensive lineman Peter Woods.
Alexander will have two years of eligibility remaining after joining the Tigers.
