Beamer and the #Gamecocks land transfer quarterback Air Noland from Ohio State

Air Noland will have four years of eligibility with USC (X)

South Carolina Monday night landed one of the biggest names in the NCAA Transfer Portal. Quarterback Prentiss “Air” Noland (6-2 192) committed to Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer according to reporting from On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Noland, a native of Fairburn, GA, visited USC over the weekend.

Noland, a lefthander, will have all four years of eligibility remaining after redshirting this season with the Buckeyes.

Coming out of high school, Noland chose Ohio State over Clemson, Alabama, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M.

As a junior, Noland passed for 4096 yards with 55 touchdowns and four interceptions. He completed 72% of his passes. As a senior he completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,140 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Noland gives the Gamecocks their second quarterback in the 2025 class of newcomers, which now totals 21, and the sixth transfer from a major program.
