Following a 31-19 loss at Marshall last Saturday, the Coastal Carolina football team remains one win shy of bowl eligibility. This weekend, the Chanticleers get another shot at a sixth victory as they’ll host Georgia Southern at 3:30pm in Conway. The Eagles are 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the Sun Belt after a surprising 28-20 home loss to Troy last Saturday.

On Wednesday, CCU head coach Tim Beck met with the media to discuss his team’s loss at Marshall and this weekend’s matchup with Georgia Southern. Beck also elaborated on the current state of “Senior Day” festivities and what he believes may happen to the tradition in the future.
