#STRecruiting Notebook 11-20: #Clemson target to announce Thursday; Tigers offer ’26 DE from Alabama

2026 Clemson target TE Tayveon Wilson (6-3 200) of Huntington, WV plans to announce his commitment Thursday afternoon at a gathering at his school. Wilson was offered by the Tigers following a camp workout in June. He was back at Clemson for a game in late October. Wilson also has offers from Louisville, Penn State, Miami, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, NC State and Illinois. As a sophomore he had 27 catches for 588 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s also a basketball player. Paul Strelow of Tiger Illustrated has predicted Clemson as his choice.

Clemson offered 2026 DE Jamarion Matthews (6-3 240) of Harvest, AL. He visited Clemson for the NC State game in September. He also has offers from Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Tulane, Ole Miss, Penn State, Louisville and Memphis.

JC Shurburtt of TheBigSpur has issued a prediction that DT Kevin Wynn of (6-2 320) of Greensboro, GA will flip his commitment from Florida State to USC. Wynn has been committed to the Seminoles since June. USC was one of his official visits in June along with FSU, Georgia and Texas. He has been to multiple games at USC this season.

Irmo WR Donovan Murph will announce his college decision January 2nd during the Under Armour Game. Murph has taken an official visit to USC and will officially visit Clemson this weekend.

Hammond TE and LSU commitment Mike Tyler plans to announce final decision between Tigers and USC on Signing Day December 4th he told Lou Bezjak of The State. Tyler made an official visit to USC last weekend and has been to several other games in Columbia this season. He said he might visit LSU again this coming weekend.

USC target 2026 RB Carsyn Baker plans to visit Tennessee Saturday.

USC target DT Trashawn Ruffin of Calypso, NC was offered by Alabama. He’s been committed to Texas A&M since October.

Clemson announced the signings of their three men’s basketball commitments, 6-4 Zac Foster (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy), 6-8 Chase Thompson (Alexandria, Minn./Alexandria Area) and 6-10 Trent Steinour (Mooresville, N.C./Lake Norman) to the Clemson University men’s basketball program. All three signed to play for the Tigers beginning in 2025-26.

The Clemson women signed Holland Harris | 6’1” | Orlando, Fla. | Monteverde Academy and Amaia Jackson | 5’8” | Rochester, N.Y. | Monteverde Academy.

2026 6-1 Kate Harpring of Atlanta visited the USC women over the weekend.
