#STRecruiting Notebook 9-16: Update on prospects we are tracking aggregated from social media feeds and other sources

DE Jared Smith of Alabaster, AL, an Auburn commitment who visited USC Saturday, told On3Sports he’s still with Auburn. Smith made an official visit to USC in June.

2026 QB Jared Curtis of Nashville, a Georgia commitment, visited USC Saturday.

According to Hale McGranahan of TheBigSpur, Florida State commitment DT Kevin Wynn of Greensboro, GA visited USC Saturday.

2027 OL Timothy Harvey of Atlanta visited USC Saturday.

USC commitment RB/LB Jaquel Holman of Blackville-Hilda made his official visit over the weekend and remains firm with his commitment.

2026 RB Ousmane Kromah of Atlanta, who said last week he wolkd be at USC Saturday, went to Auburn instead. He is down to Auburn, Georgia, Florida State and Tennessee and now has a decision date of September 28th.

2026 DB Peyton Dyer of Atlanta, 2027 OL/DL Nate Carson (6-5 270) of Irmo and 2027 LB/TE Quinton Cypher (6-3 215) of Raleigh. were offered by USC.

6-8 Zymicah Wilkins of Arden, NC was scheduled to make an official visit to USC over the weekend, but he canceled the visit and won’t reschedule according to John Whittle of TheBigSpur. He has taken officials to Georgetown and NC State. He has Dayton, Clemson, Villanova and Georgia visits scheduled the next four weekends.

5-9 Lauren Jacobs of Heathwood Hall committed to Ole Miss. USC was in her final ten.

6-5 Jermaine O’Neal Jr., son of the Columbia native and former NBA star, will announce Wednesday for Vanderbilt or SMU.

2026 INF Gavin Byrd of Lakeland, FL committed to USC.
