Dallas: Oklahoma, one of the two newbies to the SEC, made its Media Days debut Tuesday afternoon. The Sooners are a program with a rich history, as rich as any of the best of the SEC not named Alabama. Brent Venables, the former Clemson defensive coordinator, sent from six wins in season one to ten wins last season. He will pin his hopes for further improvement on a very good defense which will need to hold down the fort while an offense with a new quarterback and an inexperienced offensive line gets things together.
