One of the key off-season acquisitions by USC through the Transfer Portal was linebacker Demetrius Knight. He arrived a USC in January as a veteran of parts of five seasons at Georgia Tech and Charlotte. He’s also a family man with a wife and kids.
His maturity level, not to mention on-field skills, will no doubt be a boost for the Gamecocks linebacker positions. He earned First Team All-AAC honors last season at Charlotte. In 48 career games, he has totaled 147 tackles. .
Knight talked with us recently about making the move to USC and getting the opportunity to play in the SEC.
