USC target RB Anthony Carrie of Tampa has decommitted from Michigan State. He visited South Carolina for their Vanderbilt game. He also visited for a game in the 2022 season. The Gamecocks have been going hard after running back Daniel Hill of Meridian, MS. He is down to the Gamecocks, Alabama and Tennessee and plans to announce at his all-star game in January. Carrie has over 50 offers. At the time he committed to the Spartans in June, he had a short list of USC, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and North Carolina.
2026 SAF J’Zavien Currence of South Pointe plans to be at Florida Saturday for the Florida State game.
RB Jordan Triplett of St. Simons Island, GA received a PWO offer from USC. He visited Saturday. This season he rushed for 2866 yards and 39 touchdowns.
Greer WR Chase Byrd received a PWO offer from Clemson.
USC offered 2026 OT Ekene Ogboko (6-6 260) of Durham, NC.
Clemson offered 2025 WR Carleton Preston of Woodbridge, VA. He was in for a visit Saturday.
One-time USC target OT Jordan Seaton of IMG Academy has a new top seven, and the Gamecocks are no longer on his short list. The new list is Tennessee, Oregon, Colorado, Florida, Alabama, Maryland and Ohio State.
