Belton-Honea Path RB Marquise Henderson had scheduled Monday for his commitment announcement, but late last week he decided to postpone the announcement for another time still to be determined. “After talking with my family and coaches, I’ve decided I won’t be announcing my commitment on Monday. At this time, my recruitment is still 100% open. Right now, I’m focusing on competing with my brothers in the playoffs,” is what Henderson wrote on his X page. Henderson has named a favorites list of Cincinnati, Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech. Clemson and USC are both showing some interest, Clemson as more of an athlete, and the Gamecocks as a running back.
USC is in the top 10 with 2025 OT Solomon Thomas (6-4 313) of Jacksonville. He also has Georgia, Arkansas, Miami, LSU, Florida State, Florida, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Tennessee.
USC 2025 offered OT Malachi Goodman (6-5 290) of Paramus, NJ. He also has offers from Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State, Duke, Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Maryland, Marshall, Boston College, Miami, Michigan and Nebraska.
One time USC target guard Elijah Crawford, who is a native of Augusta, announced a commitment to Stanford Saturday night.
