#CCU packs up for its road trip to Los Angeles (VIDEO)

The Rose Bowl will provide quite the setting for CCU’s season opener (UCLA)

Coastal Carolina football has never played a game in the state of California. This weekend, that will change. Nearly nine years after the CCU men’s basketball team dropped an 84-71 decision to the Bruins at the famed Pauley Pavilion, the Chanticleers will take center stage at another historic venue by squaring off with UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

On Wednesday, head coach Tim Beck, quarterback Grayson McCall, and linebacker J.T. Killen met with the media one final time before traveling out to Los Angeles on Friday for their nationally televised contest at UCLA on Saturday night at 10:30pm ET (7:30pm PT) on ESPN.
