Running back and defensive end were the positions USC focused on last week with three reported official visits from transfer prospects. Hale McGranahan of TheBigSpur reported transfers RB Logan Diggs of Notre Dame and DE Jatius Geer of Syracuse made official visits with the Gamecocks over the weekend, and transfer RB Demie Sumo-Karngbaye of NC State visited mid-week. Diggs has also visited Ole Miss. He’s a Louisiana native and LSU is expected to also be a major factor. Geer is a product of Belton-Honea Path, and the Gamecocks appear to have his complete attention for the transfer. Sumo-Karngbaye appears to have visited Colorado recently based on a picture posted on Twitter that included Buffs head coach Deion Sanders.

SAF Kaj Sanders has USC in his top 10 that he released over the weekend. The others are Notre Dame, Syracuse, Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Miami. Sanders has an official visit with the Gamecocks set for June.

WR Channing Goodwin of Charlotte, who had USC on his short list, committed to Michigan.

USC offered 2025 WR Quincy Porter (6-3 190) of Oradell, NJ.

Clemson and USC target 2025 OT David Sanders of Charlotte was offered by Oregon.

Former USC reserve OL Colin Henrich is transferring to Georgia State.

CAA-leading rebounder 6-7 Frankie Policelli signed with the College of Charleston as a grad transfer. He played the last two seasons at Stony Brook and led the league last season with 9.4 rebounds per game along with 14 points per game. He played his first two seasons at Dayton.

6-10 Drayton Jones of Oak Hill Academy committed to SC State

6-11 Cooper Bowser, who played for Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, KA, signed with Furman. Bowser, a native of Woodbridge, VA, averaged 8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game this past season.
