After a thrilling finish at Kansas on Sunday, the stage is now set for NASCAR’s return to South Carolina. The stars of the sport will be in Darlington this weekend for NASCAR’s official “Throwback Weekend” and the running of the Goodyear 400 Cup Series race on Sunday. The “Buckle Up South Carolina 200” Craftsman Truck Series race and the Xfinity Series’ “Shriners Children’s 200” will take place on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

As a lead-up to the weekend, SportsTalk SC will be your one-stop shop for interviews, features, and commentary on the first of two NASCAR race weekends in the Palmetto State. Of course, the sport will return to Darlington over Labor Day weekend for the annual “Cook Out Southern 500.” We’ll update interviews and race information throughout the week, so be sure to check back frequently.
