The focus of the golf world shifts from Augusta to Hilton Head this week for the RBC Heritage. This is one of the PGA Tour’s designated events, so most of the world’s top golfers have made the move from Augusta National to Harbor Town.
Jordan Spieth is back to defend his crown he won in a playoff last year with Patrick Cantlay. And Masters champion Jon Rahm will tee it up for just the second time in the event.
The field also will include a large number of golfers with ties to South Carolina including Kevin Kisner, Wesley Bryan, Matthew NeSmith, Ben Martin, Doc Redman and Lucas Glover.
Monday, Spieth talked with the media following the opening ceremonies, and Wednesday Rahm sat down inside the media center for his first major press session since walking out of Augusta National Sunday.
