In the pre-season rankings, the USC baseball team was nowhere to be found. Now, 29 games into the season, and with a 26-3 record, the Gamecocks are a consensus top ten ranked team. Mark Kingston not only changed his roster in the offseason, but he also changed himself as a coach. Right now, the majority of his players are playing at a high level, and he is making mostly right decisions.
The Gamecocks face a huge week with a game against 13th ranked North Carolina in Charlotte Tuesday night, then a three game series at home against #1 LSU starting Thursday night.
