Cooke leads #Gamecocks to come from behind win at Georgia 68-51 (AUDIO)

Top ranked USC trailed Georgia for 24 minutes Monday night in Athens, but Brea Beal hit a three-pointer with 5:44 to play in the third quarter to put the Gamecocks on top 35-33 and they went on to a 68-51 win in Athens. The Gamecocks went on a 9-0 during that stretch to turn the game in their favor.

On a night Aliyah Boston was limited to just 6 shot attempts and 4 points, Zia Cooke picked up the slack lighting up the Bulldogs’ zone defense for a career high 31 points. She made 4 three-point shots and hit 11 of 13 from the line. She was the only Gamecock to score in double figures.

USC is now 14-0 overall and 2-0 in the SEC. The Gamecocks will host Auburn on Thursday night.
