Clemson completed an undefeated ACC season Saturday with a big home win over Miami. That’s another box checked by the Tigers as they will play North Carolina in the ACC Championship Game in two weeks. Next on their list, that box for the Palmetto Bowl. The Tigers will try to become the first of the teams in the rivalry to win eight straight games when they host USC Saturday afternoon at Noon. It will be the Gamecocks first visit to Death Valley since 2018 because the SEC’s Covid rules prevented the Gamecocks from playing the Tigers that season.
Both head coaches will have their regular Tuesday press conference this week, and USC players will be interviewed Tuesday as well. Monday, Clemson Offensive Coordinator Brandon Streeter and co-Defensive Coordinator Mickey Conn, along with several players, met with the media, and their attention was fully focused on the Gamecocks.
