The Clemson Tigers got the 2022 season off on the right foot Monday with a 41-10 win over Georgia Tech at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta. The Tigers have now won each of their last eight ACC openers, which is the longest conference-opener winning streak in school history.
And while Clemson’s defense dominated the proceedings, the Tigers’ offense had its moments, especially from the young pups. Wide receiver Antonio Williams led the Tigers with four receptions for 37 yards, while backup quarterback Cade Klubnik completed four of his six attempts, which included a 3-yard touchdown pass to Will Taylor.
On Wednesday, Klubnik, Taylor, Williams, and OL Blake Miller met with the media to recap the victory over the Yellow Jackets and to look forward to Saturday’s home opener versus Furman.
