



It’s been a tough go recently for Wofford football and head coach Josh Conklin. Now entering his fifth season in Spartanburg, Conklin has endured back-to-back one-win seasons after picking up Southern Conference titles in each of his first two campaigns. As the Terriers transition from a ground-heavy attack into a more spread-oriented offense, Conklin believes his team is ready to take the next step with its new look.
Wofford begins the 2022 season on Saturday at league rival Chattanooga. It marks the ninth time in the last ten fall seasons that the Terriers have kicked off a new campaign away from home. However, on Tuesday, the school rolled out the red carpet for the Palmetto Pigskin Tour as Coach Conklin, quarterback Jimmy Weirick, and defensive lineman Chuck Smith gave us their take on the upcoming year.
