The 2021 NASCAR season was almost too easy for Kyle Larson. After being suspended from the sport in 2020 for using a racial slur, Larson took full advantage of the second chance offered to him by Hendrick Motorsports by dominating the circuit. The California native picked up 10 wins, posted 20 “Top 5’s,” while becoming the seventh different champion in the elimination type format we now know as the NASCAR playoffs. This year, things weren’t quite as easy for the driver of the #5-Chevrolet, but Larson still finds himself in a position to claim “back-to-back” titles.
On Monday, Larson met with the media via a conference call to begin previewing the playoffs, which begin this Sunday at Darlington Raceway.
