Gamecock fans no doubt will be anxiously keeping an eye on Beamer’s Twitter account over the weekend as major target DE Desmond Umeozulu (6-5 220) of Upper Marlboro, MD is set to announce his college commitment Monday. Umeozulu named a final four of USC, Ohio State, Pitt and North Carolina. He took official visits to each in June. He also made unofficial visits to each school with his USC stop coming in early May. Umeozulu is definitely a Tier-1 prospect with committable offers from programs coast-to-coast. Some of the national analysts are predicting he will announce for the Gamecocks.
