Clemson football wrapped up the acclimatization portion of fall camp on Wednesday with an eye towards the Tigers’ first scrimmage this Saturday. After the midweek workout, head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media to update fall camp. Swinney said that freshman defensive back Myles Oliver is out for the season with a shoulder injury requiring surgery. The 6-A all-state selection from Georgia is expected to redshirt this season following the procedure.
In other injury news, Swinney said that defensive tackle Tre’ Williams has had surgery but is on track to play in the season opener against Georgia Tech on Labor Day.
You can hear Swinney’s post-practice comments along with the thoughts of LaVonta Bentley, Barrett Carter, Keith Maguire, and Jeremiah Trotter below, courtesy of Clemson Sports Information.
