#Gamecocks SEC basketball opponents set for upcoming season

The conference opponents for South Carolina’s upcoming men’s basketball season were announced by the SEC league office, Wednesday. In Lamont Paris’ first year at the helm, the Gamecocks will play host to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. USC will pay visits to Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Dates and game times will be released at a later date.

Auburn won the 2021-2022 SEC regular season title with a 15-3 league record and Arkansas reached the West Regional Final in the NCAA Tournament. Alabama, Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee were also tournament teams. The Volunteers and Wildcats were undefeated on their home floors last season.
